The Jeep Brand Aims to Satisfy Customers with a new Jeep Wrangler Pickup

It has been decades since the legendary Jeep brand even considered the possibility of producing a Wrangler-based pickup truck. Though there has been significant demand for a vehicle like this, the brand had remained steadfast in their commitment to focusing on the SUV models that have made it so successful, but all that is about to change. Included in the new that the production of the Jeep Wrangler would not be moved from Toledo, came the announcement that there would also be a Wrangler-based pickup produced at the very same plant.

For a long time fans have had to set about modifying their Jeep Wrangler models to outfit them like pickup trucks, which would prove to be a costly endeavor. Other drivers sought out professionals in the aftermarket world to produce the vehicle they have been looking for, once again demanding an incredible investment. Now, these drivers won't have to consider finding ways to create the vehicle themselves, as it appears to be going into production for the 2017 model year.

While not much is known about this forthcoming model currently, you can bet that we will have an abundance of exciting information as we approach the arrival of this exciting new Jeep model in showrooms. Our initial guess is that it will be a more powerful version of the current Jeep Wrangler, but even that guess is a shot in the dark, so stay tuned for more official announcements as they come.
